Technology to the fore for buyers and sellers during Covid

The Coronavirus situation has led to unprecedented uses of technology for builders, buyers and sellers of real estate.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reports that this week a number of luxury properties on the glitter strip have been sold to interstate buyers via Facetime, with border closures restricting buyers to head into Queensland to personally inspect their potential investment.

The report backs up the recent claim by home builder, Silkwood Homes, that its initial meetings with new home builders for its Newcastle, Ballina and Gold Coast offices have largely gone to an online scenario.

With the situation as it currently is (June 26) it would seem that the ability for real estate agents and home builders to connect with buyers via technological means is the way forward for the now and the future.
